Heli Boarding
Have you an insatiable appetite for virgin powder in the mountains. Then try heli-boarding! Flying in a helicopter over the snow capped peaks of the Alps before descending into a remote valley and endlessly ride untracked powder. The ultimate off-piste experience!

We drop into Switzerland and/or Italy, both within 20 minutes drive from Chamonix. By helicopter we can get to every remote corner of the Alps in a matter of minutes, guaranteeing a true adventure far away from everything!

When the heli is full the price of the drop is less, so encourage your friends to share with you the pleasure of untouched powder.
Prices start at €160 per person per drop

Profile
In order to participate in a Heli drop then you will need to be of what we class a high intermediate level i.e., comfortable on black runs and off-piste. If you are in doubt as to your suitability with the level required and you don’t have a whole week to take part in one of our courses then why not try a days freeriding, touring, or backcountry riding with us.

Touring
The ultimate off-piste adventure: we take you on a spectacular walk through a winter wonderland, stopping for lunch at the summit while soaking up the view before descending into a different valley to ride fresh, untracked powder! Experience the joys of climbing to a summit to gain access to slopes covered with fresh crisp snow before boarding down to the valley and a well deserved beer!

Access to the main runs can vary from 15 minutes to several hours depending on snow conditions and fitness of the group. Due to the large height differences during descents we can encounter any kind of snow from powder to ice, thus the ability to board all kinds of snow is a necessity. Our guides know where to find the best snow available and will bring you to the best snow in the valley. We make sure that we take you to the best snow around to ensure you experience as much powder and fresh tracks of your own as possible!

The effort of snowboard touring uphill is more than compensated by your arrival at a mountain pass or summit. Untouched slopes are waiting for you to snowboard down!

Whether it be a weeks course involving daily tours in and around the Chamonix Valley or a one day taster, touring with us is an unforgettable new experience!

Mont Blanc
Climbing Mont Blanc and looking down on all of the Alps and then descending more than 3000m down to the valley.....an experience of a lifetime!

The fact that descending the top of the Alps is possible on a board makes it the ultimate challenge for many snowboard enthusiasts. Although not technically difficult in climbers terms an ascent of Mont Blanc is not to be taken lightly because it requires a high level of physical fitness. Being an accomplished off-piste boarder with some touring experience and the capability to deal with any kind of snow is a necessity on this trip of a lifetime.

The main difficulty on a Mont Blanc ascent lies in the effects of high altitude which will cripple your performance level, this is why this course has a 4 day preparation period. We will be exploring some of the fantastic touring in the Chamonix valley and spend a night in a mountain hut to achieve the necessary acclimatisation. We will also go through avalanche and glacier travel safety issues and brush up on your off-piste technique. This 6 day period also gives us the necessary flexibility to adjust the program to use the best weather window to ensure maximum chance on a successful summit attempt.

Safety Courses

Avalanche Awareness
While not a substitute for the knowledge of a Guide, our course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basic knowledge and skills for recognising potential avalanche danger. Assessing avalanche risk involves: weather history, wind and temperature, slope angle and aspect, terrain features and snow layers. You will be taught how to use an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe and practice different search scenarios to quickly rescue buried people.  The relevant first aid techniques will also be covered.

Glacier Travel Awareness
This course is ideal for those who go touring or off-piste high up in the mountains where you are exposed to the dangers of glaciers and seracs. This one day course includes: reading the terrain to avoid crevasses, how to use ropes to travel safely on a glacier, on foot and on skis/snowshoes, and learning different crevasse rescue techniques in several scenarios.
